Here in West Palm Beach, FL, our doctors have developed safe and convenient treatments for women dealing with the most debilitating symptoms of menopause and age-related hormone decline. We have developed a unique approach to hormone replacement therapy for women customized to their specific symptoms, goals, and lifestyle. All women know how the hormonal changes that occur before, during, and after menopause can bring on many debilitating symptoms that can negatively impact their ability to enjoy life, from sexual satisfaction to emotional well-being.
Hormone therapy for women is designed to replace diminishing supplies of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, three of the major reproductive hormones. Your individualized treatment plan will start with lab tests or "blood panels” to ascertain your hormone levels. You will also be given a physical exam.
Hormone therapy for women can be given in the form of creams, patches, gels, injections, or subdermal pellets; we will work with you to determine the best delivery method to suit your symptoms.
Throughout your hormone therapy for women program, you will see improvements on:
Sexual wellness
Increases in energy
Relief of menopausal symptoms
A reduction of "foggy thinking
An overall improved sense of well-being.
Most of our patients experience little or no side effects from their menopause treatment.
At Hormone Logics in West Palm Beach, FL, we take a different approach to hormone therapy for women. Unlike other hormone clinics that offer a "one size fits all" approach to HRT, we customize your hormone replacement therapy to your unique goals and lifestyle.
Traditional HRT helps to minimize the most common and well-known symptoms of menopause such as night sweats, hot flashes, and mood swings.
The professionals at Hormone Logics have had many years of experience in helping women overcome the many debilitating symptoms of adrenal fatigue.
Bioidentical hormones are exact duplicates of the hormones normally produced by your own body, so they are better tolerated and have fewer potential side effects than synthetic hormones.
Growth hormone deficiency (GHD) is a medical condition. Growth hormone is produced by the pituitary gland. Any injury or disease condition that causes a problem with the pituitary function, can lead to GHD. GHD in adults could be the continuation of an untreated or ineffectively treated growth hormone deficiency in childhood. However, it is usually the result of the natural decline in HGH that occurs as you age.
Menopause sometimes referred to as “the change of life,” is that time in every woman’s life when her periods stop and her ovaries lose their reproductive function. Usually, this occurs between the ages of 45 and 55, but in a few exceptional cases, women may become menopausal in their 30s, or even younger. This is then known as premature menopause or premature ovarian failure. “Medical menopause” can be caused by certain surgical procedures such as a hysterectomy.
The regular cycling of these hormones begins to change as early as the mid-thirties and symptoms likely begin in the mid-forties as women begin the process known as pre-menopause. It is the time when levels of key hormones such as estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone begin to fluctuate and are accentuated by declines in other equally important hormones, namely HGH, DHEA/Pregnenolone, and even thyroid gland function. Pre-menopause continues until periods stop and the woman becomes menopausal.
Another important difference between BHRT and synthetic hormone replacement is individuality. Synthetic hormones are standardized into one-size-fits-all dosages and ratios. A one-size-fits-all approach is never a great idea for any medical procedure, but it can be especially problematic when it comes to balancing each woman’s unique body chemistry. Bioidentical therapy is specifically formulated for each woman. Her hormone levels and overall health are carefully assessed to determine exactly what she needs to achieve and maintain her own unique and delicate hormonal balance for optimal health and well-being.
